I suppose I should tell you a little about me, so you know where I am coming from.
I am a Vietnam Era Veteran, having served in the United States Air Force from 1973 until 1976. I graduated from Northeast Missouri State University in 1980, and have been in the insurance business since.
I have been involved in the senior market for since 1984. That is the year that I began marketing Medicare Supplement plans. In my career, I have worked with a lot of different companies. I began marketing Long Term Care coverage in about 1990. Currently I am an independent agent. I am a member of the Colorado Gerontological Society, the Colorado Senior Lobby, and the Society of Certified Senior Advisors.
Over half of my life has been devoted to working with seniors in an advisory capacity. It’s what I do and I love doing it.
There is a great article that says everything I could say in a lot less words about what will happen with Medicare under the National Health Care Reform plans. I suggest checking it out at: www.medicarerights.org.
